The Iranian Film Festival in Pakistan has come to a conclusion in the capital city of Islamabad.

Co-organized by the cultural wing for the Embassy of Iran, the five-day event concluded in Pakistan’s Islamabad on Friday.

A number of artists and officials were present at the closing ceremony, including senior officials from Iran embassy.

Films screened at the five-day festival included titles such as ‘So Far, So Close’, ‘A Cube of Sugar’ and ‘Where Are My Shoes?’

A large number of people from Islamabad and Rawalpindi have shown keen interest in the Iranian movies.

The last film screened at five-day festival was ‘Where Are My Shoes?’ The film was directed by Kiumars Pourahmad.

Iranian Cinema has gained international appeal and special status among the world’s cinema industry with its unique and innovative film directing techniques.
